NHS Dental Treatment

We are happy to provide a full range of NHS treatment for all our currently registered patients. Where necessary, we will refer a patient to an NHS consultant for complex orthodontic treatment.

Under NHS regulations, patients are entitled to attend for a free check up every 6 months. We encourage our patients to attend these in order to maintain good oral health.

Information about local NHS Dental Services can be obtained from Highland healthboard by phone 08458 332310 or online at www.nhshighland.scot.nhs.uk

We provide all our patients with an estimated cost for their proposed treatment. However, it must be stressed that this may alter once treatment has commenced, but an updated estimate can be given.

Payment Policy

Although providing NHS treatment, we are a business and have extensive material and running costs. In order to enable us to continue to offer NHS treatment, we would request that patients pay in advance or per visit for their treatment. Payment may be made by cash, debit or credit cards. All treatment must be paid by the last visit in the course of treatment.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may offer the appointment to another patient. A fee is charged for missed appointments or cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to appointment time.

- £15 for 15 minute appointments

- £45 for longer appointments

Confidentiality

We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously and all personal information is treated in the strictest confidence. All our patient records are stored securely to ensure that any patient information is only accessed as part of your treatment.

Complaints

We aim to make your experience at the practice as pleasurable as possible. However, should you have any complaints please contact the receptionist or the practice manager who will be able to deal with your complaint and talk you through our procedure. Alternatively, you can pick up a copy of the procedure from reception.
